========================== Psychopharmaco Lab general ========================== Lab head: `Dr Sean Fallon `__ `The Psychopharmacology Laboratory `__ works to understand the factors that affect individual variation in response to drugs. .. figure:: /pharma/Pharma.jpg :alt: :width: 300px :align: center Lab Resources ------------- This lab combines use of behavioural, physiological and imaging techniques, including: * Pharmacology: Dopamine-altering compounds (e.g., methylphenidate) and novel agents * Anxiety/Pain models: CO₂ inhalation to induce transient anxiety, experimental pain paradigms * Physiology: Biopac with ECG and EDA recording * Neuroimaging: Functional near-infrared spectroscopy (fNIRS) and fMRI to track vascular and neural responses
