NOMAD Lab
The Neural Organisation of Movement, Action and Dynamics (NOMAD) investigates how the brain and body coordinate to produce movement and maintain functional ability in both health and neurological conditions such as stroke, Parkinson’s disease, multiple sclerosis, and cerebral palsy. Using techniques including 3D motion analysis, force plate recordings, surface EMG, and ultrasound, the lab examines muscle activation, balance, and sensory integration to inform the development of targeted rehabilitation and clinical interventions.
