Psychopharmaco Lab general
Lab head: Dr Sean Fallon
The Psychopharmacology Laboratory works to understand the factors that affect individual variation in response to drugs.
Lab Resources
This lab combines use of behavioural, physiological and imaging techniques, including:
Pharmacology: Dopamine-altering compounds (e.g., methylphenidate) and novel agents
Anxiety/Pain models: CO₂ inhalation to induce transient anxiety, experimental pain paradigms
Physiology: Biopac with ECG and EDA recording
Neuroimaging: Functional near-infrared spectroscopy (fNIRS) and fMRI to track vascular and neural responses
